Application of quantum secure communication network

The path to realize wide-area quantum secure communication network is metropolitan area network and backbone network of fibre-optic quantum secure communication, satellite-to-ground quantum communication network,and the specific application of LAN access is built on the user side as needed. From 2013 to 2018, many metropolitan area networks in China have been completed and put into use. The Beijing-shanghai backbone QKD line had been accomplished in 2016 and launched in 2017. The quantum satelliteMozi (Micius)launched smoothly in 2016 and completed three major scientific missions beyond expectations, connecting with Beijing-shanghai backbone QKD line, constituting the embryonic form of satellite-ground quantum secure communicationnetwork, which means the quantum secure communication entered the WAN Phase.

The company’s products are mainly used in building quantum secure communication backbone networks, metropolitan area networks，local area networks，and industry information securityapplications. The backbone network achieved cross-city and interprovincial connections(including two method of implementing, one is ground optical fiber and another is ground station and satellite); The metropolitan area network achieved the connections between different regions and different industry organizations; The local area network achieved the connections for the multiple.terminals in a unit or a place. The satellite-to-ground connection will be realized through the company’s ground station in research.
